This page aims to bring free stuff for the war tourist, and I am very open to suggestions as to the content. For the time being, you will find wallpapers, a bunker calendar and The War Tourist Newsletter/Magazine, but more will come as I get the ideas. I.e. I have a plan of putting small (approx 3. min) videos here from the places visited. But we'll see ;-)

The War Tourist is now out in its fourth issue. I aim to make this publication a record of battlefields, fortifications and museums visited and as such a source of inspiration for other War Tourists.

Be patient during download. In order to provide acceptable print quality (150 dpi), the PDF may be some 2-6 Mb.

This is an A4 color calendar that you can download and print or use on screen. In the latter case, the events and references within have hyperlinks.

The majestic V174 naval radar bunker is towering in the dusk, giving off an almost Tolkien-like impression of a derelict castle from a long forgotten age.

The Cathedral bunker meant to house one of the mighty 380 mm battleship guns is truly impressive. Standing more than 45 feet tall it is an awesome sight you should experience for yourself.

This coastal fort is also known as the Gibraltar of Norway due to its maze of passageways carved into the cliff and connecting an array of bunkers.
